In preparing for an upcoming sales presentation the issue of connected electrical load (electric demand) for data centers was raised.  Reducing data center electrical demand for cooling means more power is left for driving the computer servers.

Comparing the Aztec ASC indirect evaporative cooling unit to a conventional DX rooftop unit and to a very efficient McQuay RPE chiller produces an impressive result.

The Aztec ASC is clearly the most efficient solution in those climates where it can be applied.  Under the new criteria provided by server manufacturers themselves the applicable climates cover a broad range of the United States.
